With the new awards, EC Hispanic Media reaches a record of 15 consecutive years winning in the distribution category

With the new awards, EC Hispanic Media reaches a record of 15 consecutive years winning in the classified section category two, and a grand total of 74 awards throughout the years which have celebrated departments including editorial, marketing, and public relations departments.

“The NAHP awards continue to highlight our efforts to keep the community connected and informed, not only by distinguishing our famous classified section, but by awarding Juntos, a publication focused on immigration that has been empowering the Latino community understand the rights and opportunities they are afforded in the United States. Following the most recent presidential election, this information has never been more timely than now”, said Martha de la Torre, the co-founder of EC Hispanic Media, who also noted that the El Clasificado reaches more than 1.5 million readers with over 520,000 copies distributed weekly.

Juntos is a special supplement that first came out in December and that has been helping the community with information and advice on many different topics, from the present and future of DACA to protecting their finances against a potential deportation.

Held in Miami, November 5-7, the gala saw a large number of Hispanic media companies in attendance, each hoping to be recognized through their print and digital efforts, while also networking with other like-minded employees looking to further encourage greater success within their own organizations.
