More than 1500 people filled the Kern County Fairgrounds on Sunday, April 22, confirming the success and popularity of a Quinceanera expo that grows every year
Coordination, teamwork, and enthusiasm. Three qualities combined for one goal: to offer the best Quinceanera Expo of the year in the Bakersfield area. And the efforts were not wasted – this year’s results surpassed the year before. More than 1,500 people attended, confirming the popularity of the Latina coming-of-age celebration in California.
The vendors, who offered everything related to organizing a Quinceanera party, had an excellent afternoon with hundreds of visits to their booths. “The expo was sensational. Many people came to our booth to ask for prices and sign contracts,” said Christy, whose photography business, Magical Moments, specializes in grand occasions like Quinceaneras.
The event took place on the grounds of the Kern County Fairgrounds, a place well known to the Bakersfield Latino community. The attendees had fun from the beginning to the end, thanks to the celebratory atmosphere present throughout. To add to the excitement, attendees were entered into a raffle to win a Quinceanera dress, limousine service, and decorations for their Quinceanera party.
The girls and their families stayed for the main event: a fashion show presenting the hottest Quinceanera dresses of the year. Dresses were presented by Luis Me Couture, as well as Bella Boutique, a fashion house aimed at the community of Bakersfield.
With a record-breaking attendance, the Quinceanera.com expo once again demonstrated why it’s the largest of its kind in Southern California.
Thanks Bakersfield, we’ll see you next year!
By the way, don’t miss the next expo on May 20 in Orange County.
