Los Angeles, CA – April 14, 2014 – The quinceañera celebration is more alive than ever, as was evident during the Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion Show in Los Angeles, which took place on April 6 at the Shrine Auditorium with more than 2,000 attendees in search of the best deals for their quinceañeras.

It was the perfect opportunity for quinceañeras and their families to find all the necessary products and services, ranging from cakes, transportation, photography, candy displays, and chambelan suits to stunning dresses and some financial advice from Wells Fargo, who presented a free seminar prior to the fashion show.

Erick Dominguez, a Wells Fargo representative, commented on the importance of teaching young girls to manage their savings. What better way to do so by opening a savings account, which “only requires them to be accompanied by an adult. The account is opened under the girl’s name and they can learn to manage and save money for their party,” said the financial advisor.

At three o’ clock, Jessica Carrillo, the charismatic host of the Telemundo Access Hollywood segment for  “Al rojo vivo” TV show, took the stage as the event’s emcee and presented the new Quinceanera.com Los Angeles Cover Girl, Lizeth Hernandez, who as the contest winner received a $700 check and a fabulous bedroom makeover from Ashley Furniture.

Soon after, came the moment the young quinceañeras were waiting for: a performance by grupero singer “Cheyo” Carrillo, who serenaded his thousands of fans with romantic songs.

Following Cheyo’s performance, the anticipated fashion show was presented by exclusive models provided by Mitzy, known as the celebrities’ fashion designer, as well as Moda 2000. The show made it clear that the quinceañera dress is still an essential part of the celebration.

The free event, organized by Quinceanera.com, was able to once again connect the thousands of attendees with many vendors. For ‘Norma Invitaciones’, a vendor who attended the expo for the second time, “this has been one of the best opportunities to have direct contact and present our product to young girls who will celebrate their quinceañera. At least 300 girls asked about my services and I left with a long list of potential clients; that’s why I came back,” she said.

The successful event ended with a big raffle that included two quinceañera dresses, a makeup session, and a room makeover, among other gifts courtesy of our vendors.

Official sponsors include Ashley Furniture, Moda 2000, Mitzy, and Wells Fargo. The next Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion show will take place on June 8 in Orange County.
