As CEO of EC Hispanic Media, I've expanded our print and digital platforms to create a comprehensive marketplace, empowering the Hispanic community with valuable resources. My dedication to innovation has solidified El Clasificado's position as a trusted brand among Hispanics, earning recognition such as the SBA's Minority Small Business Champion of the Year.
My journey began at Loyola Marymount University, followed by a career as a CPA and audit manager at Ernst & Young, specializing in businesses targeting the U.S. Hispanic market. This background, coupled with my commitment to diversity, has shaped our thriving corporate culture.
I have made it a mission of mine to continue to make a positive impact in the Hispanic media industry, contributing to the growth and prosperity of the Latino community through our platforms.

When I arrived for my job interview I thought I was applying for Al Borde (one of our hip, alternative brands). As I walked in I thought to myself, “This isn’t Al Borde. What is this place?” It turned out to be the parent company, El Clasificado. Long story short, it was the best career move I ever made. This company nurtures talent. If you got it, then you are moving. No, not from your home, but UP!! The process hasn’t been easy, but the challenges, exciting!! Here you find yourself creating the logo of a brand, the promotional art, directing a photoshoot and booking a band to play at your event. Gotta Love It!!!
EC Hispanic Media hasn’t stopped growing since I started 6 years ago, which always means a new challenge for me, the possibility of writing and reporting about almost anything, and also the amplitude of channels to communicate with the reader. But above all, I love the people that make this place so special. I look forward to seeing them every day.

An accountant by trade and occasional reluctant entrepreneur, I have played just about every financial and operational role in the company since its founding in 1988. I’m passionate about every aspect of my job and look forward to coming to work and collaborating with such a diverse, intelligent, innovative and equally passionate group of people that make up the EC Hispanic Media family. As an avid cyclist, I’m also proud to spearhead the company’s largest annual health and wellness event that culminates in a charity bike ride raising funds and awareness for the American Diabetes Association.
I’ve been in the digital industry for over 8 years, working both agency and client side to drive digital revenues. I’m proud to be part of such a forward thinking company and I look forward to innovating our way into a market that’s moving faster than ever.
I am an experienced web design, advertising and social media professional, who is passionate about brand design, user experience and social media engagement. I love to make things that matter. Inclusive things. Intuitive things. Honest things. Things that have a real and lasting impact in people’s lives.
I’m passionate about graphic design and how I can apply my expertise to connect sellers and buyers through a variety of publications at ECHM. I am proud to manage an ample array of graphic artists that have an in-depth understanding on how to reach a desired market with the appropriate use of imagery, typography and well executed layouts and compositions. In the Advertising Production Department, we don’t succeed when we come up with a visually attractive piece; we succeed when the advertising brings in more revenue to our client as a direct result of our design work.
My passion for working here at EC Hispanic Media is knowing that we can help small businesses grow their business. I come to work every day knowing that clients and readers are counting on our circulation team to distribute our magazine in a timely manner.
It’s been written that “Few people discover the work they love.” I’m fortunate to do what I love and more importantly to get chance to do it here. People at EC Hispanic Media are passionate about what they do. Everyone is so talented that it’s evident they are here because they truly enjoy what they do not because they lack options. I’m passionate about what I do and look to inspire those around me to help make EC Hispanic Media the most dynamic Spanish-language media company in the nation. While I have helped develop the overall sales strategy for the company’s print and digital properties, we have also created custom solutions to increase advertisers’ ROI. I am proud to have been able to contribute to EC Hispanic Media’s fastest and most exciting growth periods in its 27 year history.
