El Clasificado launches initiative to join 100 Chambers of Commerce throughout the U.S. to assist struggling Latino small businesses get found online with FREE marketing packages in English or Spanish
At the end of 2019, no one expected the world to be turned upside down. From lockdowns to outbreaks, COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on our citizens and the economy. Today, it has been almost a year since the first stay-at-home order was declared, yet we have seen almost no assistance for the groups affected most by the pandemic – small businesses and local chambers of commerce.
Many of us have heard the phrase “chamber of commerce” before, but have no real idea what these organizations do to help local economies. We recognize their efforts when they sponsor a local, community event, but their real work runs much deeper. As explained by Investopedia, the goal of any chamber of commerce is to help to further the interests of small businesses in a local area. This can be achieved through various activities from hosting events, to lobbying local representatives, to charitable works for the betterment of the community.
Although we are in a time where the assistance of chambers is more important than ever, the effects of the pandemic have many shutting their doors entirely. Our team at El Clasificado knew we could not stand by as these incredibly valuable organizations closed up shop. So, we decided to create a brand-new stimulus package (in English and Spanish) with the goal of helping small businesses and chambers learn to thrive again.
Chambers cannot succeed without small businesses as members. Thus, the new El Clasificado package is aimed at addressing participation. In exchange for membership with a local chamber of commerce, the businesses will receive a FREE 60-day marketing package which aims to optimize their business online – a vital tool in today’s virtual world.
The SPANISH package includes:
