Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 16, 2013- To the sound of mariachi music and with a vibrant Quinceanera dresses collection, El Clasificado’s traveling Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion Show made its second appearance in the city of Bakersfield welcoming over 600 attendees to its free, party planning event.

The expo, which took place on Sunday April 14, 2013 at the Bakersfield Marriott, followed last year’s successful debut in the Central Valley area, by integrating social media into its showcase. Determined by the users that posted the most on Instagram, Twitter and Quinceanera.com’s Facebook wall using the hashtag #XVexpo, various sponsor raffles, as well as Quinceanera dresses and an iPad, were given away to attendees.

In addition, the event was the perfect place to shop for photography services, decorations and limo rentals. “I came to the event specifically looking for the Quinceanera dress as well as professional photographers,” said Carlotta Mora from the city of Bakersfield. “I’m extremely satisfied with the great ideas and deals I found, especially because it was convenient to find everything I needed in just a couple of hours and all under the same roof.”

The other highlight of the event was the official presentation of fifteen-year-old Emmeline Perez, Quinceanera.com Magazine’s 2013 Bakersfield Cover Girl, which described winning the contest as a wonderful experience. “When I first registered, I did not believe in myself as much as I do today. After winning this contest I realized that anything is possible.”

That same excitement was also shared by many of the expo’s party planning services that secured contracts with the attendees. Dion Altamirano, owner of Viral Booth Bakersfield, a photo booth rental company, closed 16 deals at the event, “something that represents around $15,000 for me,” said Altamirano. “It was a great decision to come today and be part of the Quinceanera.com Expo!”

Also present at the expo was journalist Maria Hernandez, host of Univision network’s “Despierta Bakersfield” program, who said how important these events are for the Bakersfield community and was highly impressed with Mexican designer Raul Corona and his Brazilian-themed collection of Quinceanera dresses.

El Clasificado, Michael’s, Univision Bakersfield, Bakersfield Marriott, Raul Corona, Toppers Tuxedos & Wedding Services, El Mariachi Original del Mexico, and The Mariachi Studio sponsored the event.

The next Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion Show will take place in Los Angeles on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Shrine Auditorium Expo Hall.
