2016 Quinceanera.com Riverside Expo Fashion Show

July 24, Riverside, CA – Hundreds of Latino families attended the Quinceañera.com Expo held on Sunday at the Riverside Convention Center, and one of the biggest events of its kind in Southern California, which presented the latest products and services for Quinceañera parties.

This year, there was a new record of attendance with more than 1,500 people, a significant amount for vendors and one of many ingredients for the event’s success. “I think this is the best Expo we have attended so far,” said Maritza Pineda from Marissa’s Cake, a bakery located in Downey.

Also pleased with the number of attendees was Hitch N’ Post Catering, which is located in Rancho Cucamonga. “It’s the first time we’re here; it’s a different experience. We have been visited by many people, and we will be sending estimates to 100 – 150 potential clients just for our participation during this weekend,” said the catering representative, Ana Karina.

The party-like ambience at the Riverside Convention Center brought live music, makeup trials, raffles, gifts from the suppliers, and lastly, the fashion show where Moda 2000 and April Black Diamond Designs presented the latest trends in quinceañera dresses in a show hosted by the energetic K-LOVE radio star, Erika Reyna. “This is the first time I’ve come to the Expo, and I am very glad for having been invited. I’m happy to be here with the people of Riverside. I didn’t have a party myself, but I would have liked to have had one. It’s very important that parents continue to cultivate our Latin traditions to future generations,” said the emcee.

Joy could be felt throughout the Expo. Attendees took time to visit all the exhibit booths to see a banquet hall here, a cake there, DJs, food samples from the banquet services, and many more products and services. The general consensus is that everybody had a blast.

Lucero Hermosillo, from the city of Miraloma, is a Quinceañera to be in October of next year. “My mom showed me the expo on the Internet. This is not the first that we attended. However, I’ve had a great time; I have really enjoyed the dresses,” said the future quinceañera.

Ultimately, it’s for girls like her that these expos are organized, so they can have fun and find everything they need to celebrate the best party of their lives.

We hope to see you in our next Quinceanera.com Expo, held on Sunday, August 14 in the city of Fresno, California. For more information, visit the upcoming events page in www.quinceanera.com.
