Hispanic Heritage Month officially begins on September 15.

El Clasificado is participating in a variety of events for Hispanic Heritage Month. These events include book fairs and entrepreneurial events to encourage Latino entrepreneurs.

On September 14, El Clasificado lends its promotional support to recognize and celebrate Latino-owned businesses for #ShopLatino Day, part of the celebration for Hispanic Heritage Month. Latino businesses currently make up $700 billion of the U.S. economy annually. El Clasificado wants to help support those businesses by helping to market their services online and in print.

First, kicking off the events calendar for the Spanish advertising company will be a media sponsorship at the Que Buena Fiestas Patrias event. The event will be held September 15 at the Los Angeles State Historic Park.

The El Clasificado Events team will be handing out that week’s El Clasificado edition. Additional promotional giveaways will also be handed out to guests. Attendees will listen to the sounds of norteños and corridos from artists including Virlan Garcia, Rancho y Barrio, Tapy Quintero, Kanales, El Cachorro Delgado, La Brisca, Los Akiles y Grupo Recluta.

Secondly, on September 27, El Clasificado is a presenting exhibitor at the Accessing LA event. The event is put on by the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Economic Development at California State University, Northridge.

This is the third year El Clasificado is a part of Accessing LA. This initiative educates construction-related businesses, personal and professional services businesses, and businesses in supplies and equipment about the small business resources and contracting opportunities the City of Los Angeles provides in the San Fernando Valley.

Finally, to wrap up its event calendar for Hispanic Heritage Month, El Clasificado is handing out over 100 free books at Wilmington’s annual book fair.

This year’s theme is ‘Fall Into Literacy’ and attendees get to meet the authors of bilingual children’s book line, Lil’ Libros.

El Clasificado is proud to amplify the Latino community for the last 31 years.
