NORWALK, Calif. — July 6, 2026 — El Clasificado has released El Sueño Americano, a one-time glossy publication in Spanish that honors Latino contributions to the United States as the country marks its 250th anniversary.
The publication tells stories of Latino entrepreneurs, educators, healthcare professionals, nonprofit leaders, artists, veterans, and community advocates whose work has shaped life in Los Angeles and across the country.
Among those featured are María S. Salinas and Raúl F. Salinas, longtime Los Angeles community leaders; Dr. Jose Fierro, president of Cerritos College; and the late Danny Villanueva, a pioneer in Spanish-language television and an early leader in what later became Univision. The feature on Villanueva includes reflections from his son, Jim Villanueva.
A total of 10,000 printed copies are being distributed throughout Greater Los Angeles to chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, libraries, civic leaders, schools, colleges and community organizations. Digital editions are also available.
