Founder and CEO of El Clasificado will speak to almost 600 women entrepreneurs on her success story behind building El Clasificado
The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works Women’s Leadership Council presents the third annual Women’s Leadership Legacy Conference to be held on Thursday, October 18 at the Pasadena Convention Center.
This year the innovative conference will feature inspiring women in leadership positions in government, the workplace and the community. Following the conference’s theme “The Journey,” which aims to educate and inspire entrepreneurs to discover their inner leader, Martha de la Torre’s topic is “The Accidental Entrepreneur,” where she will share her entrepreneurial story behind building the largest weekly Spanish classified magazine in the U.S.
Along with Martha, the conference will feature Phyllis Currie, General Manager of Pasadena Water and Power, Rebecca Haussling, co-publisher of Pasadena Magazine, Brence Culp, Chief Deputy of the County of Los Angeles, among others, as well as the nation’s top female authors, athletes and TV personalities.
In Addition, the conference will feature interactive break-out sessions, networking time, book signings and exhibitors booths.
The conference is open to the public from 7:30am to 4:30pm.
