El Clasificado brings Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion to the Legendary Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City

Los Angeles – March 7, 2011. While fashion week wrapped up in various parts of the world, the 2011 Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion Show presented by El Clasificado was in full swing. The announcement that for the first time the event was taking place in the San Fernando Valley area spread like wildfire drawing hundreds of quinceañera fashionistas and their families to the recently renovated Sportsmen’s Lodge Events Center in Studio City. Vendors demonstrating their custom quinceañera cakes, tiaras, hair jewelry, floral designs and make-up artistry excitedly interacted with the more than one thousand attendees at the free Quinceanera.com event.

Very much á la New York’s fashion week and in their VIP first-row seats, Quinceañeras anxiously awaited the runway debut of David’s Bridal first-ever Quinceañera Collection that included modern designs for both the birthday girl and her court. Roxy’s Bridal wowed attendees with a colorful collection of gowns that included popular animal print inspired dresses and 2-piece Quinceañera ensembles that easily transform from a full ball gown to a modern mini-dress design.

In the spirit of the celebration, Cynthia Martinez won a new Apple iPad to easily browse trends on Quinceanera.com, raffled off by El Clasificado.  The grand prize giveaway presented by El Clasificado was an exclusive Roxy’s Bridal Quinceañera gown valued at $1,000. The lucky winner was Jasmine Valdivia from the city of Lancaster.  Fashion Show stage sponsor, Verizon Wireless, signed up girls to enter the “Mis Fabulosos Quince” contest, where one lucky girl will win a complete Quinceañera celebration package.

In 2011, El Clasificado will be hosting 5 Quinceanera.com expos in Southern California.  Eduardo Romero, owner of Alberto’s Bridal’s, a San Fernando Valley boutique that designs and creates tailored Quinceañera gowns, was delighted with the outcome of the event and stated that “El Clasificado is doing an amazing job! Quince girls live in various parts of the city so it’s perfect that the expo is being taken to each of their areas.”

Alicia Mendoza is planning for her daughter Stephanie Santillán’s coming of age party scheduled for January 2012. With ten months until the party, they both attended the expo in hopes of finding what they needed for their event. “Everything is difficult when you’re planning a quinceañera. We’ve gone to different places to get ideas, but if you come to a place like this, you can find many ideas because everything is in one place. So if you’re planning to do your Quinceañera, this is the right place to come!”

“To meet the demands of our Hispanic audience and advertisers, we are taking our Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion Show to Montebello in April, Orange County in June, Ontario in September and San Diego in October” stated  Liliana Zambrano, El Clasificado’s Senior Director of Sales. “The Quinceanera.com brand keeps growing and we want to make sure we provide all channels of engagement to the Latino community.”

Quinceanera.com is a multi-platform party-planning brand that integrates web, newsletters, a print supplement, mobile, and live events to reach bilingual Quinceañeras and their families. The Quinceanera.com Expo is presented by El Clasificado, a Hispanic marketing solutions company that connects buyers and sellers in the community through its niche-oriented publications, websites and brands reaching over 1.5 million Latinos in print weekly and 6 million monthly online page views.
