More than 1,100 attendees gathered for the Quinceañera fashion show and party planning expo presented by El Clasificado.

Hundreds of families attended the Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion Show that took place on Sunday, May 20, at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, CA. The free event is the third party planning expo presented by El Clasificado, which drew a large crowd by promising a one-of-a-kind show. The Expo was joined by Mariachi Alfaro de Guadalajara, Dulces Ocasiones, Moda 2000 and Raul Corona collections.

Before the fashion show, the families had the chance to visit numerous vendors which offered every possible service for the planning of their daughter’s fifteenth birthday, including reception hall rentals, catering, dresses, makeup, limousines and more. The Expo also featured a workshop presented by ScholarShare for girls interested in pursuing a career in the fashion industry.

The runway kicked into gear with the coronation ceremony of Quinceanera.com Magazine’s 2012 Los Angeles cover girl, Shelbi Byrnes. However, the most anticipated moment came at the onset of the fashion show as Dulces Ocasiones, Moda 2000 and Raul Corona showcased a diverse collection of Quinceanera dresses ideal for every fashion taste and budget.

Aside from gathering numerous party-planning ideas and options, the event also presented special perks on stage for the Quinceañera attendees such as several vendor raffles, an exclusive Quinceanera Cruise given by Carefree Vacations, a $1,000 scholarship courtesy of ScholarShare, Quinceanera dresses courtesy of Moda 2000 and Raúl Corona and an iPad, among others.

El Clasificado has hosted the Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion Show series since 2006. The 2012 Expo series will continue with an Expo on June 10th in Orange County, September 30th in Ontario, and will culminate with the last one of the year on October 16th in San Diego.
