More than 1,700 attendees gathered for the Quinceañera fashion show and party planning expo presented by El Clasificado.
Hundreds of families attended the Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion Show that took place on Sunday, April 10 at the Quiet Cannon banquet facility in Montebello, Ca. The only free Quinceañera Expo in Southern California drew a massive crowd by promising a one-of-a-kind fashion show, numerous vendors offering every service for the planning of their birthday celebration, and amazing raffles like an exclusive round trip for two to Miami Beach and a Quinceañera dress valued at $1,000.
Vendors such as Jorge Lopez, president of J&M Entertainment, were able to make several appointments at the event with potential clients, and were kept busy answering the questions of attendees, most of which were looking to leave the expo having closed contracts for party services. “This is the second Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion Show I have participated in and I am very happy with the amount of families who came with their young teenage daughters,” commented Lopez.
Tiffany Martinez of Pomona, CA, who attended the event with her parents, exclaimed, “I loved the expo! I visited every single booth with my parents and I was able to find the perfect makeup and hairstylist I need for my Quinceañera,” further showcasing that the expo is establishing itself as a favorite among future Quinceañeras in Southern California.
Without a doubt, however, the most anticipated moment came at the onset of the fashion show as repeat sponsors David’s Bridal and Roxy’s Bridal showcased a diverse collection of gowns ideal for every fashion taste and budget. “More people know about us thanks to Quinceanera.com’s expos. We will definitely keep participating,” assured Roxana Porres, owner of the renowned fashion boutique, Roxy’s Bridal.

During the event, young Quinceañeras were encouraged to participate in vendor raffles, an on-stage dance competition for an iPod shuffle, and the exclusive $1,000 dress giveaway that was raffled through Quinceanera.com’s mobile contest, won by Valeria Hernandez from the city of Hawthorne. Jennifer Flores, a soon to be Quinceañera who attended the expo with her family, was excited to have won the exclusive round trip for two to Miami Beach, and was looking forward to making the trip part of her birthday celebration.
Event sponsors for the event included El Clasificado, stage sponsor Verizon Wireless “Mis Fabulosos Quince”, David’s Bridal, T.J. Maxx and Aquarium of the Pacific.
The Montebello event is the second Quinceañera expo presented by El Clasificado this year. The next Quinceanera.com Expo and Fashion Show will take place on June 5th in the city of Anaheim at the Crowne Plaza Anaheim Resort. The 2011 Expo series will culminate with a September 25th Expo in Ontario, and with the last one for the year on October 16th in San Diego.
