Quinceanera.com and Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services Will Honor Ten Foster Teenage Girls with a Lavish Quinceañera party
WHAT: The love and generosity continues to flow in Los Angeles for ten girls from foster care who will be the guests of honors at the 5th annual Quinceañera celebration that will be held at LA Celebrations Banquet Hall in Los Angeles on July 28th, 2019. Hosted by Quinceanera.com the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), along with the in-kind support of many different donors including Men’s Warehouse, Luna’s Dresses, Mariachi Sol de Veracruz, Guelaguetza, Dee Lee Designs and Porto’s, this Quinceañera celebration will represent one of the most important and happiest moments in the life of the teenage girls. The celebration also aims to raise awareness about the need for foster and adoptive families, highlighting that all children deserve a permanent family and a place to call home. In 2016, of the 35,000 county kids in foster care, only 4 percent were adopted.
WHO: Jessica Maldonado, correspondent, and reporter for “Al Rojo Vivo” on Telemundo will kick off the event as host and emcee for the teen celebration.
