The Hispanic multi-platform company supports the goal to create a brighter future for today’s youth in a fundraising Golf Tournament hosted by Helpline Youth Counseling Organization.
It should come as no surprise that El Clasificado keeps the door open to welcome initiatives that impact the community. In this case, the company participated in the 10th annual Helpline Youth Counseling (HYC) Golf Tournament, which acts as the organization’s “main fundraising event for the entire year.”
For 43 years, HYC has provided comprehensive education, counseling, intervention, and prevention programs for at-risk, low-income children, youth and their families. With their signature event fundraiser, held at the beautiful Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda on May 4th, 2015, the $24,000 raised will go directly to maintain therapeutic, educational, and recreational programs for individuals in the greater Los Angles area.

El Clasificado has supported this event for ten consecutive years. Participants in the event enjoy a fun day of golfing and networking while building healthier families. “Giving back to the communities where we live and work is a commitment we take seriously,” said Joe Badame, Co-founder and COO of El Clasificado. As the main promoter of these initiatives, Joe added, “it’s quite an achievement to have a hand in helping advance the missions of HYC’s comprehensive and holistic array of programs.”
Alongside other major charitable efforts including $13,000 raised for this year’s Tour de Cure bike ride (held in April 2015), a partnered fundraiser with celebrity hairstylist Jose Carrión, and a hosted Quinceañera for six Latinas in the LA Foster system, El Clasificado continues to strive for improvement in Hispanic communities, while also looking to empower and exemplify Latinos around the nation.
The HYC Golf Tournament was made possible with the support of 90 golfers, 40 financial supporters, and 60 corporate sponsors.
