For the 7th consecutive year El Clasificado has earned a place among the 100 fastest-growing inner city firms in the US, selected by the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City.

The Inner City 100 is a ranking of the fastest-growing companies located in America’s inner cities. The program spotlights and supports growing companies in urban areas.

This year Fortune magazine and the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City compiled the list, which is ranked based on revenue growth over a five-year period.

The firms represented on the list have shown substantial year-on-year growth rates. El Clasificado made it among the leaders in this distinguished group with a 2012 revenue of $20 million dollars and a 5-year growth rate of 12%.

The ranking will be unveiled during the Inner City 100 Awards Presentation on May 21 in Boston at Harvard Business School. The winning inner city companies and their CEOs will be recognized as role models for entrepreneurship, innovative business practices, and job creation in the ICIC conference where Founder and CEO Of El Clasificado, Martha de la Torre, will be
part of a panel of experts moderated by the New York Times. El Clasificado has earned this recognition previously in 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 and has been a part of their Hall of Fame since 2011.
