El Clasificado to Celebrate 15+ Years of Día de los Muertos Events this November

By October 26, 2021November 2nd, 2021Company News

On November 2, 2021, El Clasificado will host a FREE virtual event to honor the Day of the Dead, a tradition that has been celebrated for more than 15 years in Los Angeles County

For decades, El Clasificado has made a name for itself within the Hispanic community in Southern California. From offering free educational resources to classified ads, countless initiatives were designed to inspire the Latino community we serve. One of these initiatives is our annual Dia de Los Muertos event, which we organized over 15 years ago.

For those who don’t know, the Dia de Los Muertos is a Mexican holiday where families welcome the souls of their deceased relatives for a short gathering over food, drinks, and parties. During this celebration, death does not represent an absence but rather a living presence; death is a symbol of life that materializes on the offered altar.

Dia de Los Muertos is celebrated every November 2nd.

This celebration is particularly important to El Clasificado’s audience, which is made up of many Latinos with Mexican heritage. Previously, El Clasificado partnered with Al Borde, a brand dedicated to creating content and hosting events for Hispanic millennials for Dial de Los Muertos. These past events included a live concert, hackathon, music and art festivals, and more.

These events have become a pillar in the Hispanic community of Los Angeles, which has made El Clasificado a pioneer of these events. “We have been holding these events in Los Angeles from the moment we saw the need for them. This holiday is incredibly important to our audience, and we know it. These events are not only for El Clasificado but for all of us as well” said Frank Zepeda, Marketing Director at El Clasificado.

This year, the Dia de Los Muertos event will look a little different from previous years, as it will be held virtually via Zoom at 6pm Nov 2nd.

The free event will consist of:

  • A small business digital marketing workshop
  • A presentation of the new EC Hispanic Media brand, Autoslatino.com
  • LIMITED giveaway of the Day of the Dead t-shirt
