This is the 19th year that the EPPY Awards have been running and they honor the best media-affiliated websites in the country across 31 diverse categories; each year broadening its scope to stay current in the ever changing print and digital industry.
With digital beginning to take over the print industry, elclasificado.com has proven to keep up with the constant changes. In 1998, elclasificado.com was launched and over the past 16 years, the website has moved from strength to strength. Today, the website sees one million unique monthly visitors, 22 million page views and 240,000 advertisements placed in a variety of categories from job opportunities to party venues.
Editor and Publisher (LLP), who announced the winners of their EPPY awards earlier today (Wednesday 29th October 2014), is considered an authoritative journal covering all aspects of the North American newspaper industry, including business, newsroom, advertising, circulation, marketing, technology, online and syndicates.
The winners are chosen by a panel of notable figures and thought leaders in the media industry who have recognized El Clasificado for its outstanding digital efforts.
