El Clasificado wins big at the AFCP Awards & Conference

Los Angeles, CA- May 2nd, 2012- Spanish-language publication El Clasificado was awarded “Best Presentation of Classifieds on the Internet” for its website elclasificado.com at the Association of Free Community Papers’ (AFCP)  annual conference held in Atlanta, Georgia from April 19-21.  The conference was held jointly with the ICMA, the International Classified Media Association, and was attended by some of the most innovative print and digital leaders from around the world.

El Clasificado was recognized in four additional categories including: “Best Sales Presentation”, “Best Original Artwork” and “Best Graphic Display of Classifieds in Print”. The magazine, now with a circulation of over 480,000 weekly copies, was also awarded for “General Excellence” due to their editorial coverage, use of graphics and artwork, extraordinary cover design and advertising layout.
