El Clasificado’s renowned classifieds program wins again First Place for Outstanding Classified Section
The EC Hispanic Media team was once again recognized by the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP) with five awards at the gala celebrated on October 24 on Las Vegas, Nevada. El Clasificado, its flagship publication, won gold and silver distinctions for excellence in its classifieds and marketing sections.
With the new awards, EC Hispanic Media reaches a record of 17 consecutive years winning at least one gold award, and a grand total of 81 awards throughout the years which have celebrated departments including editorial, marketing, and public relations departments.
“The NAHP awards continue to highlight the old and new strengths of our company, which are our classifieds and our outstanding marketing team. As we’ve been growing digitally, we’ve managed not just to keep print in good shape, but to also grow our efforts to connect with the communities and serve their digital needs from Central to Southern California,” said Martha de la Torre, the co-founder of EC Hispanic Media, who also noted that the publication reaches more than 1.5 million readers with over 440,000 copies distributed weekly.
In addition to the gold award for Outstanding Classified Section, El Clasificado won the awards for Outstanding Media Kit, Outstanding Event, Outstanding Website Promoting Your Publication & Company and Outstading Design Magazine.
Held in Las Vegas, October 24-27, the gala saw a large number of Hispanic media companies in attendance, each hoping to be recognized through their print and digital efforts, while also networking with other like-minded employees looking to further encourage greater success within their own organizations.
