Los Angeles – April 27, 2011 – As the American economic crisis comes to an end, the perfect moment to develop innovative ideas and expand businesses into the next economic boom has arrived. There are thousands of opportunities in the national and international markets that can place the U.S. economy back on track, but limited access to capital can pose a problem for many small business owners.
However, Marco Lucioni, president and founder of financial company Confianza, Inc. is an expert in understanding this difficulty and determining how to overcome it. He is a financial guru specializing in credit and micro loans for Hispanic entrepreneurs who wish to start, expand, or reestablish a business. As guest speaker for this year’s expo, Lucioni will discuss the ways and new strategies, including some that are free for entrepreneurs, in order to access financing and reap its benefits.
Confianza, Inc. has been acknowledged by Univisión and national newspapers as the first micro loan company in the United States to support Latino small business owners in California.
The upcoming Su Socio de Negocios event will feature a special appearance by Beatriz Porto, the business woman behind Portos Bakery & Cafe, the most important hispanic bakery in Los Angeles, will be present to share her story of how a family business turned into a successful business empire with three retail locations where pastries, cakes, deli sandwiches and catering serve more than 700 customers daily at each of its locations.
The Su Socio de Negocios event will take place on May 11 at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello and will be completely free to attendees, with limited seating capacity. The annual B2B expo connecting Latino small business owners to major product and service providers is sponsored this year by Wells Fargo and Verizon Wireless.
In addition to the “Su Socio de Negocios” expo, a series of free small business breakfast workshops are held throughout the year on topics such as using low cost accounting software, marketing using free technology tools, and how to use Facebook to increase business. The business breakfast series is always presented in Spanish and targets small businesses that prefer to learn and do business in their native Spanish.
The SuSociodeNegocios.com website and electronic newsletter reaches more than 25,000 small business owners each week and provides ongoing tips for businesses operating in U.S. Latino grassroots communities.
“Su Socio de Negocios” expo has been presented since 2006 by El Clasificado, a verified publication with a weekly circulation of 460,000 and a weekly readership of more than 1.5 million. El Clasificado is distributed to more than 250 cities in Southern and Central California.
