More than 25, 000 toys will be given to low-income children on Sunday, December 11 in South Gate

The event in which El Clasificado will participate is called “Juguetón” and is spearheaded by Spanish language television network Azteca 54.

Each year, the Three Wise Men fill thousands of homes all throughout the world with happiness. This year, El Clasificado participates in that act of kindness so that less fortunate kids in the Los Angeles area can experience the joy of Christmas.

The initiative is part of “Juguetón”, an annual toy drive that TV Azteca has produced in Mexico for 17 years. Thanks to the generous donations, “Juguetón” has been able to distribute more than 16 million toys in Mexico, Central America, and for the last five years in the United States as well.

“It’s the firs time we participate in ‘Juguetón’ and it will definitely not be the last,” stated Martha de la Torre, founder of El Clasificado. “It is an honor for us to help the most important asset in our community: our children.”

The event, which will take place in the city of South Gate on December 11, has as objective to give a brand new toy as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.

Aside from the numerous families that will benefit from this generous cause, Azteca 54 Los Angeles and Fundación Azteca America, the organizers of the event, will also distribute toys to various Los Angeles non-profit organizations including White Memorial Hospital, Radio Guadalupe and Santa Cops.

And to entertain both young and old, the “Juguetón” community event will also count with the presence of popular Mexican host Jorge Garralda and Tatiana, known as the “Queen of the Children”. Fun is guaranteed at the Los Angeles “Juguetón” toy drive. 4855 Tweedy Blvd. South Gate, CA 90280 (next to the Senior Center’s Club of South Gate)
