<div Technology expert, Jose Ulloa, the Latino Cyber Guy, led a presentation on how to improve small and medium businesses through the usage of technology
Los Angeles, CA- July 25, 2012– Dozens of small business attended an interactive technology workshop hosted at El Clasificado’s headquarters. The workshop is part of the Su Socio de Negocios platform which seeks to help Hispanic entrepreneurs improve their businesses. Jose Ulloa also led a presentation on the use of technology to improve one’s business.
“Hispanic entrepreneurs should focus on their passion and turn it into a business through the usage of technology”, said Jose Ulloa, who has a technology television show broadcasted by Mundo Fox.
He added, “with so many people eager to grow, this type of seminars should be offered much more often so people become aware of what is happening in real life”.
Julio de la Cruz, a home loan specialist and one of the attendees, described Ulloa’s presentation as “excellent”. “I learned useful information on technology, a field where Latinos are a bit behind. We should use the Internet to advertise our business to the whole world and not just the city we live in. It is a huge tool we are not taking advantage of”.
Carlos del Cid, another attendee, found out about the even through Facebook and left satisfied. “If we (Hispanic business owners) wish to progress, it is important to have information and today’s event was without a doubt useful”, said this entrepreneur who specializes in English language courses.
The Su Socio de Negocios event took place on July 18th and was sponsored by Wells Fargo, Scholarshare, State Farm and Western Dental. The next event for small business owners will take place on November 14th. This event will also host, for the first time, the “Small Business Awards” presented by EC Hispanic Media, El Clasificado, Wells Fargo and Su Socio de Negocios.
