El Clasificado to Participate in 2019 Downey Christmas Parade

El Clasificado and EC Hispanic Media are proud to participate in the 68th Annual Downey Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 1st.

Tom Lockyer, Senior Manager of Human Resources, and Jacquelinne Mejia, marketing and business development manager, will be emcees of the parade. Lockyer and Mejia will be announcing the parade participants including bands, scout troops, cars, floats, and Santa with Mrs. Claus.

Employees of El Clasificado will also be marching in the parade with an El Clasificado banner.

“Our El Clasificado readers and clients in Downey have been supportive of our business for decades. We are excited to be part of this holiday tradition in our neighboring city of Downey,” Mejia said.

The parade is presented each year by the Downey Chamber of Commerce.

The Downey Christmas Parade will be along Downey Ave. between 2nd St. and Lexington Rd. from 1-3PM.

The parade comes on the heels of El Clasificado’s other celebrations of traditions and festivities including its annual Día de Los Muertos event and participation in events for Hispanic Heritage Month.
