El Clasificado’s renowned circulation program wins First Place for
Outstanding Circulation Program for ten years in a row

Los Angeles, CA –Oct 28, 2011– The grassroots Latino advertising
media group EC Hispanic Media was awarded 11 José Martí Awards for Publishing Excellence at th
e 26th annual National Association of
Hispanic Publications (NAHP) convention, hosted October 19-22 in Las
Vegas, Nevada.

El Clasificado garnered 11 awards, including a First Place for
Percentage Increase in Ad Dollars during 2010 with an 18% increment.
The recognition was one of 6 received awards in the marketing

El Clasificado’s renowned circulation program also won First Place for
Outstanding Circulation Program for the tenth consecutive time. Its
circulation currently manages 32 zones, has an aggregate circulation
of 470,000 and over 22,000 key distribution points into the greater
Latino communities within Los Angeles, Central Valley, San Diego and
Imperial County.

El Clasificado’s mission is to connect the local reader to the
community for goods, services, and inspiring events, a goal that
according to Martha de la Torre, CEO and founder of the company, has

The National Association of Hispanic Publications, Inc. (NAHP) is a

The 26th annual National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP)
convention included cutting-edge workshops and lectures for industry
leaders and newcomers, touching on best practices, advertising, sales,
news and social media for an ever-strengthening Hispanic audience.
