The ebook can be downloaded for free and includes key points to obtain a driver’s license in California for undocumented immigrants

December 30, 2015- Los Angeles, CA- On January 1, 2015 Law AB60 will take effect, finally allowing close to 1.5 million undocumented immigrants to become legally licensed California drivers.

Celebrating this monumental shift in legal rights, El Clasificado | EC Hispanic Media has created a comprehensive guide with everything you need to know about AB60, continuing the company’s strong commitment to inform and empower the Latino community.

The eBook, titled “Consiga ya su Licencia de Manejar en California,” describes important steps to get a license like:

  • How to obtain an appointment with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV)
  • Documents needed to get a license like State Issued I.D. or proof of California residence
  • DMV locations including newly opened offices in Granada Hills, Lompoc, San Jose, and Stanton

“What has been achieved with this law is very important for our community, but we are also aware that there is considerable misinformation. For that reason, we decided to launch this digital guide to help as many people as possible get their license, by educating the Latino community with what to expect and how to best prepare for, and pass, the DMV test,” said Martha de la Torre, cofounder of El Clasificado and EC Hispanic Media.

Protecting the community with easy access to information and opportunities remains a company hallmark. The guide provides useful tools to avoid fraud, prepare for the written driving test, and links to useful information on the DMV website.
