Despite the intense heat felt in California’s Central Valley, the city of Fresno gleamed with all the people who visited the free event for teenagers.

Fresno, California, August 14, 2016. It was predicted that a few people would not leave their homes in the city of Fresno and the surrounding areas on Sunday due to the three-digit temperature that hit the region. They were wrong.

A crowd of Latino families defeated the heat to visit the Quinceanera.com Expo at the Convention Center in downtown Fresno where, in a party atmosphere, dozens of exhibitors offered samples of their products and services to future quinceañeras and their families. Some came to see what they might need for their party and others to buy what they were unable to find elsewhere such as the cake, invitations, makeup, and dress.

Besides visitors enjoying the expo, participating businesses were also satisfied with the number of people who attended, including HR Productions, a photography and video company that was present for the first time at the Quinceanera.com Expo. “The event was fantastic. We provided a lot of information and we hope to close contracts with all the people who visited our booth,” said Heriberto Rosales, business owner.

JCPenney representatives also had a booth offering their photography services at the event. “Everything went very well, we are happy with the results and the response of the people. It was our first time at the expo and we would be happy to be part of future events,” said Cassandra Richards, assistant district manager of the company.

Just like previous years, the Fresno expo was a success. The attendee count was more than 700 people, not including 37 exhibitor booths, or, of course, the fashion show presented by Kimberly “Kimmie” Marquez from the Midday Show for Q97.1 FM, which featured the latest in quince fashion from Princess Bridal and Quinceanera as well as Barr Bross of CA.

While this year’s expo may be done, the Quinceanera.com Expo is already looking forward to their return next year when they will bring more surprises for young Latinas and their families.

Don’t miss the upcoming Quinceanera.com Expo that will be held on Sunday, September 25th in the city of Ontario, California. For more information, visit www.quinceanera.com.
