Los Angeles – CA, April 29, 2014 – The key to success for any entrepreneur lies in having a good financial education in order to tackle challenges such as business diversification, finding investment opportunities, and budgeting. In order to help empower Latino business owners with tools to overcome these obstacles and other more, Su Socio de Negocios and El Clasificado have organized a special event that will feature well-known journalist Xavier Serbia from CNN en Español as keynote speaker.
Serbia, who will speak at the Quiet Cannon in Los Angeles on May 14, comes from the CNN headquarters in Atlanta and will share his strategies for business growth as well as his personal story with Hispanic entrepreneurs in Southern California. Known by many, his career began with the music group Menudo and now continues at the most prestigious news channel in the world where he hosts CNN Dinero.
“It has been a hard route. I lost a lot of money when I was in Menudo because I didn’t know how to manage my finances. That’s why I decided to study and prepare myself and, thanks to these efforts, have been able to form a career as a journalist for an influential news channel,” said Xavier Serbia proudly. “Now I share what I have learned with future entrepreneurs through CNN, my books, articles, websites and events such as this one organized by Su Socio de Negocios, who help Latino entrepreneurs in the community. This is my way of democratizing finances.”
Xavier Serbia will also speak about common mistakes every entrepreneur should avoid and the importance of carrying out a market analysis before starting any business.
The event will also feature raffles, appetizers, and the opportunity to network with hundreds of entrepreneurs throughout California.
The Su Socio de Negocios Expo will take place on May 14 at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello, CA, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
