El Clasificado Honors Hispanic Heritage Month 2021 with Two More Virtual, Spanish Job Fairs – Los Angeles and Miami

After seeing incredible success at the Los Angeles and Houston job fairs earlier this year, El Clasificado and EmpleosLatino have teamed up to offer more job fairs in October 2021 – Los Angeles on October 13 and Miami on October 20.

In October of 2020, not even one year ago, El Clasificado and EmpleosLatino teamed up to host Supérate L.A. — the first ever virtual job & career fair hosted entirely in Spanish. With initial expectations of 100 attendees, these two brands were struck when over 500 attendees ended up tuning in to the event.

Since Supérate L.A., El Clasificado and EmpleosLatino have hosted 3 more fairs – 2 for Los Angeles, CA and 1 for Houston, TX — all of which were aimed at serving blue-collar, grassroots, Spanish-speaking Latinos.

This need for easily accessible, Spanish-language job and career opportunities and information has only continued to grow as the pandemic and its variants continue to take control of our economy. In fact, The Pew Research Center found that the unemployment rate for Hispanics increased from 4.8% pre-pandemic to a peak of 18.5% today. Pew Research continued by explaining, “this exceeds levels from the Great Recession of 2007-2009, when the national unemployment rate peaked at 13.9% in January 2010.” Essentially, the Hispanic community is currently fighting against one of the largest unemployment peaks in history at this very moment.

To make matters worse, Axios reported that during the pandemic, 1 in 5 Latino households were so financially impacted by unemployment that they were forced to skip meals.

With this data in mind, El Clasificado and EmpleosLatino knew there was no time to slow down. Thus, they have announced 2 more virtual, Spanish job and career fairs to honor Hispanic Heritage Month 2021.

  • Los Angeles – October 13, 2021 – 10:00am Pacific Time
  • Miami – October 20, 2021 – 10:00am Eastern Time

Both events will offer educational career workshops to help Latinos advance their careers, find a job, or even learn how to get a better job. Afterwards, the fair will open with a variety of actively hiring employers who are ready and willing to communicate in Spanish to job-seekers.

Registration is OPEN for both fairs. RSVP today!
